Pause or cancel your Orbit plan

This is for account admins who want to stop paying for a while, or stop altogether. A pause keeps your plan and brings it back on its own. Cancelling ends it.

Open Settings

Select Settings in the sidebar.

Open Billing

Under Account, select Billing.

Choose Pause subscription

Select Pause subscription.

Choose how long

Under Pause for, choose 1, 2 or 3 months.

Confirm the pause

Select Pause for with the length you chose, for example Pause for 2 months.

I don't see Pause subscription

Only account admins can pause, and only a monthly plan can be paused. A single managed ad has nothing to pause: close the ad instead.

Pause subscription is greyed out

Read the reason under the button. You can have one pause at a time and at most two in any 12 months. A plan whose last payment failed can’t be paused until that payment is settled.

What a pause does

The pause starts when your current period ends, so the period you paid for stays fully usable.
Nothing is charged while paused.
Managed job ads pause with the plan. Applicants keep arriving and everything stays readable, your branding stays, and publishing is still free. Ranking, matching, screening and the pipeline wait until you resume.
Plan changes wait until the pause ends.
On the resume date, your plan comes back on the same plan and the card on file is charged.

Change or end a pause

On Billing, the pause shows at the top.

Select Change length to move the resume date. A pause can last at most 3 months from its start.
Before the pause starts, select Don’t pause to call it off.
During the pause, select Resume now to come back straight away. A new billing period starts today at the full monthly price, charged now, and your billing date moves to today.

Cancel your plan

On Billing, select Cancel plan.
If Orbit offers a pause instead, select Cancel anyway to carry on cancelling, or Pause instead.
Select Cancel plan to confirm.

Your plan runs until the end of the current period. After that you can’t manage new job ads until you choose a plan again. Publishing stays free.

If your plan is paused when you cancel, it ends straight away instead of at a period end, and nothing more is charged.
