Where your job appears and how to share it
Updated
job page, share job, apply link, google jobs, linkedin, xml feed, careers siteThis is for recruiters who have published a role and want to know where candidates can find it, or want to post it on other sites.
Open the role
Select Jobs in the sidebar, then select the role.
Open the Settings tab
Select the role’s Settings tab.
Check where the role goes
Under Where this role goes, each channel shows its status, such as Live, Publishing or Not going out, with the reason when it is off.
Open the public job page
Next to Public job page, select See the live page to open the role exactly as candidates see it.
Copy the apply link
To post the role on another site yourself, select Copy apply link under Apply link for your own posts and use it behind that site’s apply button.
A channel says Not going out
Read the reason under the channel. A role that isn’t published, was closed or passed its end date goes nowhere. Pool matching needs a managed ad. Your careers site needs an API key with access to your jobs.
The channels
- Wipperoz job seekers: the role appears in the job feed of anyone on Wipperoz it fits. Free, on every live role.
- Public job page: a hosted page you can link candidates to. It carries the structured data Google Jobs reads, so the role can surface in Google Jobs.
- Apply link for your own posts: for LinkedIn, Indeed or any other site where you post the role yourself. Candidates send their CV as a PDF, it becomes a Virtual CV, and the application arrives in Orbit, free.
- Your careers site: your own website reads your open roles through an API key. See Create an API key for the Orbit API.
- Job board feed: an XML feed of every live role on your account. Point a job board at it once, using Copy feed address. Roles appear when published and drop out when they close or expire.
- Pool matching: candidates from the Wipperoz pool are matched against the role and ranked on its page. Included when the ad is managed. See AI matches for a role.
Each channel carries the role independently. One being off doesn’t affect the others.
The job’s address
Each published role has its own address under your company address. If you rename the role later, the address doesn’t change. If you change your company address, old links redirect to the new one, so links you share keep working.
