Download a copy of your data

This is for anyone who wants a copy of their data, in Virtual CV or Orbit. You get one file with everything you’ve given us and the access you’ve granted employers. It’s free.

Open Privacy settings

Select Settings in the sidebar, then Privacy under You.

Request your data

Under Download my data, select Request my data.

Wait for the email

We prepare the file in the background, which can take a few minutes. We email you when it’s ready, so you don’t need to keep the page open.

Download the file

Come back to Settings, Privacy, signed in on any device, and select Download. The file is available for 7 days.

It says to verify my email address first

Your data is matched to your email address, so it must be confirmed before you can request a copy. Confirm it, then try again.

It says I already requested a copy in the last 24 hours

You can make one request every 24 hours. If you requested it on another device or browser, download it there, or request a new one after the time shown.

The file has expired

Downloads last 7 days. Select Request a new copy to get a fresh one.

Export your company’s data from Orbit

An Orbit account admin can export the whole company’s data. Select Settings, then Data & privacy under Account, and under Export the company’s data select Request the company’s data. The same rules apply: an email when it’s ready, 7 days to download, and one request every 24 hours. If you’re not an admin, ask one on your team.

You can also email privacy@wipperoz.com for a copy of your data. We respond within 30 days and may ask you to confirm your identity first.
