Find and review your job matches

job search, job recommendations, match score, no matches, filters, job alertsThis explains where your job matches come from and how to work through them on the Jobs page.
Open Jobs
In the sidebar, select Jobs.
Choose a CV
If you have more than one live CV, select the CV whose matches you want to see, or All CVs.
Look at the details
On the top card, select Details to see the full description, What you already match and What to improve. When you’re done, select Keep Exploring to return to the cards, or decide from the details view.
Decide on the job
Select Apply to apply, Not for me to remove the job, or Skip to pass for now. Select Undo to bring back a job you skipped.
It says Make a Virtual CV live to get matched
Matches only come from live CVs. Select Go to My Virtual CVs and take a CV live. See Publish your CV and share the link. The first matches can take up to 24 hours.
It says You're all caught up
You’ve reviewed every current match. New matches arrive automatically as they’re found, and we let you know.
How matching works
- We read your live CV. Skills, experience and preferences from every live Virtual CV are used. Offline CVs are never matched.
- We compare it with new jobs every day. New postings from recruiters on Wipperoz and from job boards are checked as they arrive. Your first matches can take up to 24 hours.
- Every job gets a match score. The percentage shows how well what the role asks for lines up with your CV.
Automatic matching is free. See Virtual CV plans and pricing for the actions that use credits.
Not for me
When you select Not for me, you’re asked why. Choose a reason, then select Dismiss:
- Not for now — just hide this one hides only this job.
- Irrelevant — stop showing similar jobs also adds the job’s matched keywords to the terms that hide jobs, so similar roles stop appearing.
Filter your matches
Select Filters to open Filter & sort. You can set a Minimum match, when the job was Posted, a Location, terms under Boost jobs mentioning to rank jobs higher, and terms under Hide jobs mentioning to remove them. Turn on Alert me when new jobs match these filters to get alerts in the language you choose.
To apply the filters, select Show matches (the button shows how many jobs match) or Apply Filters. To keep them for next time, select Save as my preference, so every refresh starts from these filters.
Sealed matches
Some matches arrive sealed, with the details hidden. Each sealed card shows roughly how many credits it takes to unlock. Unlocking shows the full job.
AI insights
On a job’s details, select Get AI insights for a tailored breakdown of how the job matches your CV. This uses a few credits.
Invited by an employer
If an employer on Orbit invites you to apply, the job shows Invited by, followed by the company name, and may include a note from the recruiter. To stop employer invitations, see Control what’s public on your CV.
