edit CV, change CV, add section, reorder, experience, skills, builderThis shows you how to change what’s on your Virtual CV in the builder: edit a section, add a new one, move sections around and hide one from your public link.
Open My Virtual CVs
In the sidebar, select My Virtual CVs.
Open the CV in the builder
On the CV you want to change, select Edit.
Choose a section
In the Sections list on the left, select the section you want to change, for example Experience. You can also select a section on the CV itself.
Make your changes
Edit the fields in the panel that opens. Changes save as you type, and All changes saved appears at the top when they’re stored.
Close the panel
Select Done.
I don't see the Sections list
On a phone or narrow window the list is folded away. Select Sections near the top of the builder to open it.
It says Couldn't save — retry
Your last change wasn’t stored, usually because the connection dropped. Select Couldn’t save — retry at the top of the builder. If it keeps failing, copy your text somewhere safe and reload the page.
Add a section
- Under the Sections list, select Add a section.
- Under Worth adding, select the add button for the section you want, for example Add Projects. Recommendations are based on your role.
- Fill it in and select Done.
Reorder or hide a section
Open the menu on a section in the Sections list (Section options), then:
- Move up or Move down to change its position. You can also drag it.
- Hide from public to keep it off your public link. It stays in your CV and in your PDF downloads. Select Show on public link to bring it back.
Your name, title and contact details
Select Name, title & photo for your name, professional title and photo. Select Contact details for your email, phone, location and right to work. To keep contact details off your public link, see Control what’s public on your CV.
AI help while you edit
Some sections offer AI suggestions, such as improving a role description. These use credits. See Virtual CV plans and pricing.
See it as a recruiter would
Select Preview as recruiter at the top of the builder. It opens in a new tab. Views in the preview aren’t counted in your analytics.
